Clare Bridge Club was formed in 1983. It started life in the Bell Hotel, moved to the Country Park, and has been meeting in the Old School for approximately eleven years. We average 10 tables and meet every Monday evening (including Bank Holidays) and play friendly duplicate bridge. We start at 7.15 p.m. and are delighted to welcome visitors (please telephone first). Meets every second Monday in the month at 8.00 p.m. at the Clare Social Club, Station Street, Clare. It is open to all members of the Community who have an interest in railway matters, both historical, modelling or modern. Come along and find out what we are about and discover our aims and aspirations. We generally show films or videos at each meeting and also offer trips to preserved railways in East Anglia.
