Sea Pictures Gallery launches in Clare!www.SeaPictures Gallery.com launches in Sudbury! Sea Pictures Gallery has opened its doors for the first time in Sudbury. This successful internet gallery, specialising in marine-themed contemporary artworks, held its first Open House event at Well House in Sudbury on the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. Visitors were able to view the recently re-decorated ‘period’ front room where ceramic water fowl and fish-adorned plates by world re-knowned potters Janet and Frank Hamer are on display. The room in Well House is open by appointment by phoning Sarah on 01787 279 024, and the exhibition is also available on the internet. Other Open House weekends are planned for the 16th and 17th of May and the last weekend in May. Future shows this year include: the 30th Anniversary of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists, Artists from Wales meet artists from East Anglia, and a new take on Venice by leading topographical artist Peter Kent.
